I used to believe writing wasn’t a team sport… then I found Create50

Let’s face it—hours of sitting alone, staring at a screen, trying to find the perfect word to capture an emotion only you can picture in your head… it’s not exactly a spectator event. And that was fine by me. I’m a bit of a loner anyway, and writing, for me, is such a personal endeavor that I preferred to do it alone.

But with that solitude came isolation, a creeping lack of motivation, and more than a little self-doubt.

Wouldn’t it be amazing if I could collaborate with others who share the same passion?

Sure, I could talk to my friends about character arcs and story development, but I can tell by their forced smiles, polite nodding, and glazed eyes… they’re not really that interested.

Writers need other writers. We need our tribe. People who live for words, who appreciate a flawless sentence, and geek out over grammar. You know the type—the ones who let out a deep sigh of satisfaction after the last line of a great story, whispering, “Hmmm, that was good.”
