Some links on Talent Circle earn us — or the member who posted them — a small commission. This page explains which ones, and what that means for you. It took effect on August 5th 2026.
The short version: an affiliate link never costs you anything extra. The commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket, and the price you pay is the same as if you had gone to the retailer directly.
Some links to books, films, equipment, and other products carry a tracking code. If you buy something after following one, the retailer pays a small commission to whoever owns that code.
You are never charged for this, you are not tracked into anything you did not choose, and you are free to ignore the link entirely and search for the product yourself.

Amazon operates separate stores for different countries. A link may open the store it was written for and Amazon may then offer to move you to your own country's store. We do not detect your location or redirect you — that offer comes from Amazon, and whether the tracking code survives the move is Amazon's decision, not ours.
It depends entirely on who added the link, because every affiliate link on Talent Circle is typed in by a person. Nothing on this platform adds, changes, or substitutes a tracking code automatically.
Links on a member's own page, shop, or book listing usually carry that member's code and pay that member. Links on a circle's recommended-kit page or on pages we publish ourselves usually carry ours and help pay for running the Service.
Where a link earns us a commission, you are reading the disclosure that says so. Where it earns a member a commission, the same duty falls on them: our Acceptable Use Policy forbids undisclosed advertising, and a member who hides a commercial relationship can have the link, the listing, or their account removed under it.
Not every outbound link is an affiliate link. Links to film databases, festivals, publishers, and most retailers other than Amazon carry no tracking code and earn nobody anything. They are there because they are useful.
Nothing is recommended, featured, ranked, or published on Talent Circle because it earns a commission, and a commission never buys a place in a course, a shortlist, a recommendation, or an editorial decision.
Product information, star ratings, and descriptions come from the retailer or from the member who created the listing. We do not review or endorse the products we link to, and a link is not a recommendation unless the page says in words that it is one.
A tracking code is part of the web address itself, so following a link does not set a cookie on Talent Circle. Any cookie is set by the retailer once you arrive on their site, under their privacy policy and their cookie rules, and it is their record of the visit, not ours.
We do not receive your name, your address, your payment details, or a list of what you bought. Retailers report earnings to us as totals, not as people. See our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy for what happens on our side.
