‘For any writer, Twisted 50 is a huge benefit. It is an inspiration to sit down and write, especially on a specific subject and to a deadline. Excellent discipline training. It is also educational to read the work of fellow writers and see how others approach the same subject as yourself. It’s a good way to learn how to do it and how not to do it. Then there are the invaluable peer reveiws. I have edited my stories for the better on the basis of reveiws that made small points that I hadn’t even thought about. Finally, we all know how difficult it is to get published. This is an opportunity to get into print. Even if it’s just one short story. Who knows where that ‘foot in the door’ could lead.’
