These terms cover tickets for in-person events run by London Screenwriters' Festival Ltd, including the London Screenwriters' Festival and Talent Campus, and your use of our website. By buying a ticket or attending you agree to them.
Tickets and attendance
Transferring your ticket
You can pass your ticket to someone else. Email info@londonswf.com with your ticket holder details and the full name and email address of the person taking your place, and we'll move it over.
Refunds
If you can't attend, you can ask for a 90% refund up to the refund deadline for your event. For the London Screenwriters' Festival 2027 the deadline is midnight (UK time) on 1 January 2027. For other events, the deadline is shown on the event page or in your booking confirmation. After the deadline we can't give refunds, but you can sell or gift your ticket.
We no longer offer rollovers to a later festival or event if you can't attend or choose not to.
Speakers and sessions
We secure agreements with each speaker and workshop leader before we announce them. Even so, a speaker may be unable to appear or may arrive late for reasons outside our control, and we can't be held responsible if they don't appear as scheduled or at all.
Sessions and workshops may be cancelled or rescheduled, and we may change the content of any session at any time.
Changes, postponement and cancellation
We reserve the right to change the venue and dates of an event and, in some circumstances, to move it online. We reserve the right to cancel an event, in which case we'll give you a full refund. We also reserve the right to decline admission and give a full refund at our discretion.
If events beyond our control (force majeure) stop an event going ahead, we'll reschedule it as soon as reasonably practical and your ticket will be valid for the new dates. You won't be entitled to a refund in this case. If you can't make the new dates, you can gift or resell your ticket, or use its value as credit towards our other events, in person or online.
We aren't liable for any costs of attending an event that is cancelled or postponed, such as travel, accommodation or loss of earnings.
Our promise
We have to set all this out, but if you have a problem, get in touch and we'll do our very best to find a solution. We always have and we always will.
